The NanoPi NEO Air is a 40 x 40mm open-source ARM board for makers. It uses an Allwinner H3 Quad Core A7 processor at 1.2GHz. Its pins are compatible with the NanoPi NEO(V 1.2) and its 24-pin header is compatible with Raspberry Pi's GPIO pin headers.
The NanoPi NEO AIR features 512MB of 16-bit wide DDR3 RAM, 8GB eMMC, and one MicroSD slot. It has WiFi & Bluetooth and a DVP camera interface(YUV422). The DVP camera interface can support Friendlyarm's 5M-pixel camera module.
It has enhanced power circuit design and better heat dissipation.
Features
Processor and Memory: The NanoPi NEO Air is powered by an Allwinner H3 Quad-Core Cortex-A7 processor running at up to 1.2GHz. It features 512MB of 16-bit wide DDR3 RAM, providing reliable performance for various applications.
Storage: It comes with 8GB of eMMC storage and also includes a MicroSD slot for expandable storage solutions, supporting cards up to 128 GB.
Connectivity: The board offers built-in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 dual mode. Additionally, it has a MicroUSB port for OTG and power input, as well as GPIO headers for further expansion.
GPIO and Expansion: The NanoPi NEO Air has a 24-pin header compatible with Raspberry Pi's GPIO pin headers, making it versatile for connecting various peripherals and sensors. It also features an additional 12-pin header for USB, IR, SPDIF, and I2S.
Software Support: The board is supported by various operating systems including FriendlyCore (based on Ubuntu Core), Debian, and OpenWrt. It also supports tools like eflasher for flashing OS images to eMMC and has a mainline kernel (Linux-4.11.2) for advanced users.
