Introduction


The Rider-Pi Two Wheel-legged Robot Car Kit is a desktop robot designed for developers, educators, and robot enthusiasts. It features a Raspberry Pi CM4 core module, a built-in inertial measurement unit (IMU), and a carbon fiber connecting rod structure, allowing it to adjust joint angles in real-time to adapt to different terrain obstacles. The robot supports Python programming and a range of AI functions such as face recognition, color tracking/following, QR code motion control, object detection, license plate recognition, and gesture following. It also includes a 2.0-inch IPS screen that can display video images and 35 dynamic expressions in real-time. Additionally, the Rider-Pi supports ChatGPT (for an extra charge) for voice Q&A, voice control, text-to-picture, and image analysis description functions. The robot can be controlled via Bluetooth and WiFi app (Android/iOS) and offers extensive customization and development opportunities.
