Introduction


TFmini-S LiDAR Sensor is an upgrade project based on TFmini, which is a miniaturized, single-point distance measurement product based on the ToF (Time of Flight) principle with unique optical, electrical, and algorithm design, mainly to achieve stable, accurate, high sensitivity and high-speed distance measurement functions. In addition to the low cost, small size, and long-range of TFmini, the product has higher range accuracy, better adaptability to different environments such as outdoor bright light, different temperatures, and different reflectivity, lower power consumption, and more flexible detection frequency. The product is compatible with both UART and I2C communication interfaces and can be switched by command.

Q1: Is TFmini-S available with 3.3V or other power supply voltage?
A1: Sorry, it is not available for the time being. The Standard power supply of TFmini-S is 5V±0.1V. If you have any further requirements, please contact our sales person to consult a customization design matter.
Q2: TFmini-S will heat up after operating for a while. Is it broken?
A2: This is the normal operating condition of the product. The temperature of the chip and circuit board will be slightly up after a continuous operation, which is a normal case.

Q3: Can TFmini-S be connected with Arduino or Raspberry Pi for use?
A3: Yes, it can. TFmini-S adopts serial communication protocol so that it can connect to any control board supporting serial port communication.
